Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on this website and on every client site we build. We do not claim perfect conformance, because claiming it without a full audit would be exactly the kind of unsupported statement we tell clients not to make.
What we do on every build
- Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy and landmark regions
- Text and interactive elements tested against AA contrast ratios
- Full keyboard navigability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- A skip-to-content link at the top of every page
- Alternative text on every meaningful image; decorative images marked as such
- Form labels associated with their inputs, and errors described in text rather than by colour alone
- No information conveyed by colour alone
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting - Text that reflows and remains readable at 200% zoom and on small screens
- Accessibility basics scored as a category in our 100-point pre-launch quality check
Known limitations
Some third-party embeds (mapping, review widgets, booking tools) are outside our control and may not fully conform. Where we can substitute an accessible alternative, we do. Where a client insists on a specific third-party tool, we tell them in writing what the limitation is.
Tell us
If any part of this site or a site we built is difficult for you to use, email info@code2reality.com with the page and what happened. We will respond within five business days and fix what we can. If we cannot fix something, we will tell you why and offer another way to get what you needed.
